The BEST Gingerbread Themed Books and Activities for Preschool and Early Elementary Speech and Language Therapy
A gingerbread theme can be the perfect way to add some holiday spirit without actually talking about Christmas in your speech therapy sessions!
Speech sessions in my room always start with a book and are followed by additional extension activities to reinforce the targets we practiced during the story read. The perfect combination for busy school-based SLPs with mixed groups!

- Draw a gingerbread person outline. Create different facial expressions using a marker or modeling dough. Talk about how the gingerbread person is feeling.
- Pretend play: Pretend to mix and bake your own gingerbread cookies. Pretend the cookie runs away when you open the oven door. What would you do?
